National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) is the apex body at national level to regulate, facilitate, set skills standards, accredit, provide policy direction, enforce curriculum, trade testing, certification of skills and develop skilled Human Resource in the Technical & Vocational Training Sector, enhancing employment for the youth, contributing to the national productivity and development. NAVTTC is effectively implementing Prime Minister’s programme “Skills for All” Strategy as a catalyst for TVET Sector Development in Pakistan, under which technical training is imparted to unskilled youth across the country, besides taking a number of steps into improve the TVET landscape in Pakistan.

What is NEXT?

The NEXT jobs and skills portal established by NAVTTC is a bridge which connects the skilled youth and the employers, opening new vistas of employment and empowerment on the G2C Government to Citizen model of E-governance, with State providing valuable services to benefit the public in realizing their potential, and enhance the national productivity. NEXT is also aimed to act as a think tank providing credible data and labour demand future forecasting to the policy makers. It is a pleasure to see that such a large number of skilled youth and employers are already using this free portal service.
