RESPONSIBILITY AND SKILLS:-
• The candidates shall report to the Chief Executive Officer / Board of Directors LESCO.
• The candidate must have the ability to nurture an environment of opportunity for optimum creativeness, sense of responsibility, accomplishment and must demonstrate expertise to adopt national / International good practices required for turning around the company.
• The candidate must have deep knowledge and required set of skills to deal with the economic, business, social, cultural, legislative, political and regulatory environment in which the company is required to operate.
• The candidate must have understanding and skills to ensure community relationship essential for the utility's growth.
• The candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be well familiar with the industry environment possessing sharp business acumen / skills and the best managerial practices related to national and international power utilities.

Qualification/experience:

• 16-year degree: LL.B. / LL.M. / Barrister at Law
• Post qualification relevant experience of minimum 15 years including 05 years of related experience at the senior Management Level position / HoD / against positions in BPS-20 or equivalent in companies / SOEs/ organization having total assets of five billion rupees or more.
• Licensed advocate of the High Court

AGE LIMIT:-
• Upto 50 Years (on the closing date of advertisement)
• No any age relaxation will be allowed

REMUNERATION &TENURE:-
• Market-based competitive salary package commensurate with qualifications and experience of candidate to be decided by BOD at the time of selection.
• The contract will be awarded initially for a period of two (02) years (extendable for a maximum period of 3 years on satisfactory performance) with annual performance evaluation to be undertaken by the BOD, LESCO.
OTHER CONDITIONS:-
• The candidate must comply with the Fit and Proper Criteria as laid down under the Companies Act, 2017 and the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023.
• The prospective candidate must be a Pakistani Citizen.
• In case of any false / forged information provided in the application, LESCO reserves the right to disqualify a candidate at any stage, and the costs incurred will be recovered from the applicant.
• LESCO reserves the right to withhold / cancel the whole recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
• Applicant with foreign academic qualification must furnish HEC Equivalence certificate.
• Candidate should apply only if he/she fulfil the eligibility criteria.
• Applications (incomplete in any respect or received after due date) will not be entertained and no claim whatsoever thereof will be acceptable.
• Candidates already serving in Government / Semi-Government Organization / Autonomous Bodies / SOEs should apply through proper channel. Advance copy of the application, however, may be forwarded without obtaining NOC. The candidate will not be allowed to appear in the interview, if he fails to produce NOC from concerned department
• In case a govt. Servant is selected through competitive process against any such position, he / she shall either resign from its service or seek early retirement from his /her parent organization before joining LESCO.
• No candidate shall be appointed against these posts on deputation or lien in any case.

f. Detailed separate list of experience in chronological order with starting and ending date (DD.MM.YYYY) along with experience letter/certificate etc.

3. Candidates shall be required to produce all original documents at the time of interview.
4. Only short-listed candidates will be invited for interviews/selection process.
5. No TA/DA will be admissible for interview / selection process.
