JOB RESPONSIBILITIES OF DY. MANAGER (SECURITY)

 Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive security protocols at all Grid Stations, Stores, LESCO HQ, Operation Offices, misc. Offices and Schools

 Oversee a team of security personnel, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.

 Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats.

 Manage security systems such as access control, CCTV cameras, and intrusion detection alarms.

 Implement measures and protocols to safeguard Surveillance & Investigation and field staff from theft of electricity and electrical equipment.

 Investigate security incidents, including theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.

 Maintain strong relationships and liaise with law enforcement agencies (LEAs), police, and private vigilance companies to ensure coordinated security efforts.

 Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and industry standards.

 Maintain accurate records of security incidents and activities.

 Providing physical presence at critical locations during high-risk activities, responding to security alarms, or escorting personnel in secure areas.

 Develop and implement emergency response plans, including procedures for fire response using appropriate equipment, in case of natural disasters, power outages, or other unforeseen events.

 Foster a culture of security awareness among all employees.

 Any other task assigned by the management. 

INSTRUCTIONS & GENERAL CONDITION:
a. Only short listed candidates will be called for test/ interview and No TA/DA will be admissible to candidates for test/interview.

i. Position of Deputy Manager (Security) is purely contractual in nature, non-pensionable, no long term benefit and shall not be converted into permanent position / regularized at any stage

Qualification/experience:

a. Retired officers of the Armed Forces of the rank of Major or equivalent.
b. Preference will be given to those having experience in Security, Surveillance, Internal Security, Crisis Management and Counter Terrorism Duties.
c. Must have completed their prescribed rank/service limits.
d. Who were retired / expelled from Service on disciplinary /administrative ground will not be considered.

Notes:

REMUNERATION:
The position is offered market based lump sum package.
TENURE:
The employment will be on an open contract on lump sum pay package, with six months’ probation period.
