The office of DG AvRID has been established as a research and development wing under the umbrella of the Pakistan Air Force. AvRID has been working on a number of projects, for which separate project teams have to be formed. Teams have been working on core capabilities development, aircraft development, avionics development, facilities development, human resource development, and so on. Depending on the complexity of the systems, these teams vary in the nature and extent of multi-disciplines.
