Sponsoring Unit: Ministry of Defence (MoD), Rawalpindi Job Title: Store Keeper Job Category: Store Keeper for a mega Construction Project Department / Group: PSDP Project No 149 - NASTP (ACP) PPS: PPS-3 Location: Kamra Travel Required: Yes Level / Salary Range: Rs 43,750/- Position Type: Contractual We are looking for a dynamic, well-experienced and dedicated Store Keeper for a mega Construction Project. Job Description He is responsible to Project Manager for the following: (a) Take and arrange all stocks, files and registers. (b) To maintain incoming and outgoing mail and records. (c) Take delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders. (d) Track, document, and resolve any discrepancies on received orders. (e) Ensure accuracy of the facility’s inventory system by updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments and returns. (f) Manage inventory/supplies and ensure they are within the established minimum and maximum levels. (g) Keep up-to-date records of receipts, records, and withdrawals from the stockroom. (h) Responsible for packing, pricing, labeling, and returning supplies. (i) Responsible for stock rotation and coordinate the disposal of surpluses. (j) Create purchase orders and utilize purchasing card to perform low-value procurement activities. (k) Responsible for shipping cancelled or damaged items back to suppliers as appropriate (l) Organize and work with computerized inventory system, software and data entry to update the inventory control system. (m) Manage supplier relations and database as well as maintain high ethical relationships both internally and externally. (n) Perform any other duty assigned by Project Manager and / or Assistant Project Manager Qualification / Experience FA / F.Sc qualified with more than 5 years relevant experience and computer skills. Max Age Limit 25+5 years (General Age Relaxation will be admissible as per rules of the GoP). Additional Notes (a) The hired employee will undergo a 2‐3 months training period during which the employee will be on probation. The final appointment will be confirmed after completion of the training period. (b) Incomplete applications and applications with fake / false documents will be liable for rejection at any stage during or after recruitment process. (c) Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview and written test. No TA/DA will be admissible for test / interview. The Organization reserves the right to withdraw/cancel the vacancies at any stage without assigning any reason.
