ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Account Officer will be responsible for the bookkeeping and accounts management of a mega scale Government sponsored project
Maintaining financial records.
Creating and processing invoices.
Cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy.
Managing a company’s accounts payable and receivable.
Sending bills and invoices to clients.
Prepare vouchers and cheques for the release of funds and procure logistics as approved.
Ensure strict compliance to tax laws and PPRA rules while maintaining transparency in all purchases.
File payment vouchers and receipts and keep soft copies of all payments and receipts using Excel or any accounting software.
Study program activities and budget and obtain relevant market information to ensure procurement of high-quality goods
Well conversant with finance and accounting requirements, policies and procedures set by Govt of Pakistan through various channels, in particular PPRA and Planning Commission.
Familiar/experienced with inventory management/ accounting, preparation of cash plans, balance sheets and equipment ledgers.
Preference would be given to those experienced in using/working with Planning Commission's online accounting and reporting software including PMES and management of NIS codes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors or master’s degree in accounting or finance from HEC approved institute of high repute with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.
Proficiency in MS Excel and QuickBooks.
Solid analytical skills.
Able to work well within a team.
Strong interpersonal skills.
At least 1-2 years of relevant professional experience
The Accounts Officer will undergo a 2‐3 months training period during which the Accounts Officer will be on probation. The final appointment will be confirmed after completion of the training period.
